Population commission commends Taraba for supporting enumeration exercise

The Federal Commissioner of National Population Commission Sanny Sule Sale has commended the Taraba State government for supporting the commission to carry out Enumeration demarcation exercise in the state.
The Commissioner stated this at the two days refresher training of demarcators, supervisors and enumerators of the commission held at Balfa Lodge in Jalingo.
The federal commissioner said the state government has donated about twenty motorcycle to the commission to help to facilitate and carry out the updating of the areas in the state which where already demarcated.
Saani Sule Sale further explain that the National population Commission is fully digital adding that the earlier Enumeration was manual hence the need to update the information degital to avoid errors pointing out that the issue of population is sensitive.
The commissioner called on the both the federal, state, local government and the host communities to support the commission saying that the population census is a collective effort that all hands must be on derk for it’s success.
Earlier the state coordinator, Abijah Yurma thank the federal commissioner for his tireless efforts for ensuring the smorth running of the Commission and the entire staff of the Commission.
Highlight of the day event include oarth taking Commissioning and distribution of motorcycles among others.
