As a way of welcoming back Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya from his overseas trip, Gombe United FC on Thursday at the Pantami township stadium walloped visiting Mountain of Fire Ministry FC by 3 goals to 0 in the ongoing Premier League.
The Gombe State darling team overcame their opponents in the presence of record crowd to clinch all three maximum points in match day 10 of the Nigeria Premier League.
Two First half goals from Yusuf Abdullazeez N0 9 ’42’ and Mohammed Aminu in 41′ ensured comprehensive win for the Gombe base team.
The home team was spurred on to victory by hundreds of cheering supporters from within and outside the state capital.
