Dr. Aliyu Idi Hong, the 2nd Deputy President signs the agreement on behalf of ACCI

In a significant step towards promoting and developing the national economy, the Made in Nigeria Project Office, under the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OGSF), has signed an agreement with the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI).

The agreement outlines a comprehensive strategy for the homegrown economic promotion and development program, “Buy Made in Nigeria.”

The signing ceremony, marked the beginning of a fruitful 10-year partnership between the Made in Nigeria Project Office, OGSF, and ACCI.

The event, according to a statement by ACCI Media/Strategy Officer, Olayemi John-Mensah, was attended by esteemed dignitaries and key representatives from both organizations.

Dr. Aliyu Idi Hong, the 2nd Deputy President of ACCI and the Director General, Mr Agabaidu Chukwuemeka Jideani led the ACCI delegation to the event, showcasing the Chamber’s commitment to driving economic growth through local production.

The collaboration between the Made in Nigeria Project Office, OGSF, and ACCI is set to revolutionize the Nigerian economy by promoting and supporting locally made products.

This strategic partnership aims to boost domestic production, create employment opportunities, and enhance the overall competitiveness of Nigerian industries.

With the signing of this agreement, both organizations are poised to work hand in hand, leveraging their respective expertise and resources, to achieve the shared goal of promoting the “Buy Made in Nigeria” initiative.

Through joint initiatives, policy advocacy, and capacity building programs, they will pave the way for a sustainable and thriving local manufacturing sector.
