Professor Suleiman Bogoro

President Muhammadu Buhari has been called upon to as a matter of necessity give the Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TetFUND) Prof. Suleiman Elias Bogoro a higher responsibility considering his achievements in the TetFUND.
The call was made by a young politician in Bauchi State, Alhaji Uba Boris who expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TetFund) Professor Suleiman Bogoro since his second appointment as the Executive Secretary of the Fund.
Boris who addressed journalists Sunday, noted that Bogoro who is an indigene of the state is among the few technocrats in President Muhammadu Buhari’s team that is projecting the good image of the administration and the party through their services.
While buttressing his points, Uba Boris who is a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state said that many higher institutions in the country were like advanced secondary schools in the past due to their deplorable conditions adding that with the coming of Bogoro has taking over the mantle of leadership of TETFUND has brought succour by building required structures in all the schools.
He said that, “For example, the Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi had dilapidated structures before, but if you go there now, you will see transformation. New blocks of classrooms, lecture halls, laboratories and hostels have been constructed by Suleiman Bogoro”.
Boris added that, “These facilitated the accreditation of its courses and introduction of new programs. It will interest you to know that the polytechnic now runs national diplomas, higher national diplomas, national certificate of education and degrees due to the provision of necessary wherewithal to the institution by Bogoro. Same have been done to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi and all other institutions in the country”.
“In addition to that, TETFUND under Suleiman Bogoro is promoting research in Universities and prioritizes scholarships as it awards scholarships to deserving lecturers to go to any university in the world to pursue more knowledge”.
The APC chieftain recalled that Suleiman Bogoro served twice in TETFUND opining that he deserves to be appointed into a higher position in the government.
He concluded saying that, “On behalf of the entire citizens of Bauchi state, I call on president Muhammadu Buhari to elevate Professor Suleiman Bogoro to a bigger position as he is an image maker for the administration”.
