President Bola Tinubu has commended Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State for his exceptional efforts in defending the nation’s freedom, liberty, and commonwealth.

The President made this known on Monday while declaring open the second edition of the National Economic Council meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Tinubu praised Radda’s unwavering commitment to securing Katsina State and protecting citizens against criminal elements threatening the peace and stability of the nation.

The President also commended the Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno and Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna States for their determined efforts in tackling insecurity in their respective domains.

Reacting to the commendation, Governor Radda expressed deep appreciation to President Tinubu for the recognition, attributing the progress to effective teamwork and the unwavering support of the people of Katsina State.

“This recognition belongs to the people of Katsina State and our gallant security agencies who have stood firm in the face of adversity. We are making progress because we are working together,” Radda said.

The Governor, however, vowed not to rest on his laurels until insecurity is completely eradicated from the state.

“We will not relent. We will not be distracted. We will continue to support our security forces with everything they need until peace is fully restored to every corner of Katsina,” he pledged.

The Governor assured that his government would sustain the momentum until total peace is achieved.
