By Celestine Ihejirika, Jalingo

The visit of President Bola Tinubu to Taraba State on Wednesday has been a monumental blessing to the people of the state.

The APC chieftain and senior special adviser to Governor Agbu Kefas on Blue Economy, Alhaji Adamu Abubakar Loddo stated this in an exclusive interview with our correspondent in Jalingo on Tuesday.

Loddo observed, the historic visit of Mr. President to the state, no doubt remains significant to the people of the state as it will attract dividends of democracy.

He said Taraba is in dire need of the visit, pointing out that the maiden interface between Tinubu and Tarabans will go a long way in assisting the state particularly on dilapidated federal roads and other critical infrastructures begging for attention of the government.

While congratulating president Tinubu and governor Agbu Kefas for clocking two years in office, the special adviser urged Mr. President not to forget Taraba and APC supporters in his developmental quest for the country.

On the secret behind his appointment by PDP led government in Taraba, the business monger and ex-governing board member of Taraba State Polytechnic Suntai attributed it to long existing relationship between him and current government officials in governor Kefas cabinet.

The special adviser also cited current minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike who is still a member of PDP but appointed by the ruling APC led federal government of president Bola Tinubu and expressed appreciation to governor Kefas for his inclusion to the government.

On Tinubu’s two year assessment in office, Alhaji Loddo lauded him for implementing a new national minimum wage and local government autonomy for 774 local government areas in Nigeria which he said were unable to be implemented by the previous administration, urging him to sustain the tempo.
