Presidential visit: Nasarawa youth lauds Tinubu’s achievement on education, others

Progressive Youth for Greater Nasarawa, a support group of the retired Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu, has lauded President Bola Tinubu achievements in the area of education and increment in the allocation to states for development across all levels.
The group gave the commendation while briefing journalists in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital ahead of President Tinubu’s visit to Nasarawa State on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
Spokesperson of the group, Dr Mohammad Shamsudeen said that the group in the state are fully in support of the achievement of the APC led government under President Tinubu, renewed hope agenda aimed at transforming the country.
He, however, appreciated Tinubu for approving the students loan scheme and other initiatives aimed at empowering the youth population in Nigeria.
Shamsudeen also lauded Governor Abdullahi Sule for executing critical legacy projects in Nasarawa State, some of which the President would commission during his one day official visit to the state.
According to him, these project are clear testimonies of Governor Sule’s commitment to the transformation of Nasarawa State that the project to be commissioning by President Tinubu, has shown clearly that Governor Abdullahi Sule, has transform the state.
Also speaking during the briefing, the secretary of the group, Dr. Joseph Bala Ari, outlined some of the achievement recorded by President Tinubu and Governor Sule which necessitated the progressive group to throw there weight to the two leaders.
The group also noted that the present administration under the leadership of Sule would not have succeeded in executing they projects without the support of President Tinubu hence the need to encourage the people of the state to support the initiative of Mr President.
Dr. Ari, also advised all politicians to avoid politics of bitterness and hatred for the sake of development in the state and country at large.
Our correspondent reports that the briefing was held by the Progressive Youth in conjunction with the Supporters of former Inspection General of Police, Abubakar-Muhammad Adamu as part of activities in preparation to welcome President Tinubu who will visit Nasarawa State to commission some projects.
