Professor Yakubu Aboki Ochefu

More achievements continue to come the way of the Secretary-General, Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian University (CVC), Professor Yakubu Aboki Ochefu.
This time, the erudite scholar has been elected the National Chairman, Conference of Alumni Associations of Nigerian Universities (CAANU).
The election took place on Saturday in Kano during the 2022 Quadrennial Convention of CAANU. Professor Ochefu got 81 votes to clinch the position.
Professor Ochefu who was recently conferred Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Letters (NAL).
Professor Ochefu held many academic positions including being the Vice Chancellor of Kwararafa University, Wukari in Taraba State. He is first Benue State academic to be Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Letters (NAL) and 7th from Northern Nigeria.
The Founder and CEO of TRAVSI NGO, Gadafi Asemanya congratulated his mentor and boss to be elected National Chairman of Conference of Alumni Associations of Nigerian Universities.
