Progressive change can’t take effect without change of mindset – NCPC Executive Secretary, Rev. Pam

The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, (NCPC), Rev. Dr. Yakubu Pam has said progressive change cannot take effect without a change from the mind.
He made this statement while speaking at the WUSAL yearly Special Prayer which held at Jos on 7 May, 2023.
The Wusal special prayer is in preparation for the Nzem Berom cultural activities coming up on 14th May, 2023.
The NCPC boss who spoke on the theme, “Master negotiator” took his biblical reference from the book
of Philemon Chapter 1 verse 8-18, where he stressed the need for the power of negotiation.
According to him “Progressive changes cannot take effect without a change from the mind”
He harped on the need for everyone to learn from the boldness of Paul, who from the prison could speak authoritatively, According to him, Paul was in the prison but his mind was not in prison.

Rev. Pam further stressed the need for the people of Berom to be progressive minded urging them to have a loud and clear mindset.
He admonished them to desist from laziness and hatred against each other, and also to avoid unhealthy competition amongst themselves.
The NCPC helmsman speaking on the ongoing pilgrimage activities hinted on the need for pilgrimage to be carried out in Turkey, he mentioned key sites in Turkey such as the “Church of Ephesus”, which will be a good experience for intending pilgrims.
He disclosed that NCPC will be airlifting over 20,000 pilgrims before the end of the year.
He expressed his gratitude to the King of Berom, Da. Jacob Gyang Buba for the privilege given to him to serve as the guest speaker of the occasion.
