Reason Dr. Echem dumped YPP for LP, joins Obedient Movement

A former Vice President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), as well President of the Princeton Leadership Forum (PLF), Dr Chibuike Echem has dumped the Young Progressive Party, (YPP), for the Labour Party, (LP).
Echem, a prominent youth leader from the South east region and aspirant for the house of representatives under the platform of YPP announced his resignation at a press conference tagged state of the nation on Thursday in Abuja.
The former NYCN Vice President, said he was dumping YPP and joining the Obi-Datti movement because of wanton unchecked corruption, Insecurity, ASUU strike and continues depreciation of Naira against other currencies under the current administration.
Echem recalled that in the past Nigeria institutions where rated alongside world-class citadel of learning across the globe as foreign students prefer Nigeria schools which created foreign exchange for the nation.
Crude and other natural resources were refined in Nigeria, minimum wage tally greatly with standard of living but suddenly Nigeria became stagnant due to wanton corruption, said Echem.
The youth leader appeals to every Nigeria irrespective of political affiliation to support Peter Obi movement for the actualization of good leadership and prudent management of national resources.
This election is not all about parties rather about candidate with the required energy and technical know how in bringing forth the Nigeria of our dream, he said.
