The proprietor of Bin Usman Darul Qur’an, Birnin Kebbi, has charged parents to ensure raising their children according to the teachings of putting into practice good virtues, love for one another, religious tolerance and above all total submission to the will of Allah.

Engineer Rilwanu Usman, while speaking to newsmen also emphasized that with an educated and God fearing society there would definitely be peace which would in turn give room for socioeconomic and human development, leaving no space for religious extremism and fanaticism.

He further stated: “You just witnessed the walimah of some of my children who had completed studying the Holy Qur’an. It may please you to note that Fatima, aged six years, was able to achieve this exalted status at such tender age. The decision is deliberate. By the time she goes into the larger society we expect her and her other siblings to exhibit piety life.

” I am proud that people from all walks of life, especially Islamic clerics have graced this occasion. It is a mark of respect for education, being the best legacy that parents should live for their children. It always saddened me to see people fighting in the name of religion while Islam has already notified us that there is no compulsion in religion.”

The proprietor noted that Nigeria was going through trying times but with fervent prayers lights would appear at the end of the tunnel, adding that with sustainable and persistent teachings and sermons to religious extremists, vices such as banditry and kidnapping would stop.

He then charged youths in the society to always put at the back of their minds that their parents had toiled day and night denying themselves comfort to foster their future in order make them proud ambassadors in the society, urging them to justify the confidence reposed in them.

Engineer Usman also called on the youth not be lured into criminality with financial tips , noting that most criminal clusters were mainly made of agile young men and women, urging the youth to always listen to their inner mind calling them to the path of humility and uprightness not the path that would lead them and the society to destruction.
