Remains of late Safara’u, mother of Governor Radda arrives Katsina International Airport for interment

The remains of late Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Radda, mother of Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, arrived at Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport, Katsina this afternoon.

Katsina State Deputy Governor, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe; Hajiya Hauwa Umaru, the deceased eldest daughter and the Governor’s wife, Hajiya Fatima Dikko Radda accompanied the remains of the late Hajiya Safara’u from Abuja.

This was contained in a statement by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Katsina State.

In Katsina, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura, State Legislators, Members of the State Executive Council, and the Head of State Civil Service, Alhaji Falaliu Bawale received the remains and subsequently conveyed to Radda Village in Charanchi Local Government Area where the late matriarch will be laid to rest.

Other dignitaries paying solidarity include the Executive Director, Agric Services of the Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority, Alhaji Muntaka Badaru Jikamshi, alongside some elected council chairmen and APC stakeholders.
