Communities in the Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency of Kaduna State are set to experience significant relief as the drilling of 80 boreholes and the installation of 500 solar lamps have been initiated.

This development aims to alleviate the persistent challenges of water scarcity and lack of consistent electricity faced by the residents.

The project, spearheaded by Honorable Daniel Amos, a member of the House of Representatives, promises to benefit all 23 political wards across Jema’a and Sanga Local Government Areas.

The flag-off ceremony took place in Barde town, Jema’a Local Government with Rt. Hon Ali Kalat, Minority Leader of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, representing Honorable Amos at the event.

The traditional ruler of Barde, Chief Njebi Daniel Lemson Daniel extended heartfelt gratitude to the honorable member for his generous contributions that transcend mere political interests and exemplify true good governance.

Chief Njebi expressed his appreciation for Amos’s decision to initiate the borehole and solar installation projects within the Jema’a/Sanga federal constituency, particularly choosing his chiefdom as the starting point.

He acknowledged the positive impact these developments would have on the community, enhancing access to clean water and sustainable energy.

Chief Njebi offered his prayers and well-wishes for Hon. Amos successful tenure at the Green Chamber, hoping for continued progress and collaboration.

Also, constituents expressed their joy and gratitude at the launch. “We are very happy today to witness such a project in our communities for the first time. We assure Hon Daniel Amos that we will treasure and protect it,” said a resident of Barde ward in Jema’a LGA.

This initiative marks a significant step towards improving living conditions and enhancing the quality of life for the people in these communities.
