The Special Adivser to Rivers state governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu has died.
A statement issued in Port Harcourt on Sunday by Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Pastor Paulinious Nsirim said Nwakaudu died on Sunday after a brief illness at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.
He said that governor Nyesom Wike has expressed shock over the sudden death of his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Mr. Simeon Nwakaudu.
He stated that governor Wike described late Nwakaudu as a loyal and dedicated professional who contributed immensely to the implementation of the “The New Rivers Vision.”
The statement stated that governor Wike on behalf of his family, the government and good people of the state condoled with the bereaved family.
Nwakaudu worked with the Guardian newspaper and was onetime its correspondent in Benue State.
