Governor of Taraba State Dr Agbu Kefas has felicitated with Muslims in the State for successfully completing this year’s Ramadan fast.
The Governor who started this in his Sallah message noted that the lessons of sacrifice and discipline of Ramadan should continue even after the exercise and expressed the need for tolerance as the nation requires prayers and selfless service by both the leadership and the followership to overcome all the challenges.
He said the two major religions have been celebrating their religious festivities together which is a welcome development considering the relationships that exist between them even at family levels.
Governor Kefas stressed that Taraba State is strengthened by its diversities across tribes and faiths noting that with unity the State can prosper more.
He pledged that his administration will continue to carry everyone along irrespective of their faiths or ethnicity in the distribution of the dividends of democracy.
Dr. Kefas promised not to leave any stone unturned in the provision of security, battling poverty and hunger to make life easy for all the citizens.
He reiterated his commitment to offsetting all backlogs of Gratuity in the State saying that his free education policy has come to stay to build the future of the children.
