High Chief Fada displays the doctorate certificate after being decorated with the academic gown

The Sardauna of Koro Babba, High Chief Enoch Nyam Fada has been conferred with an Honourary Doctor of Divinity (DD) by Heavenward International College of Divinity, Bwari, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The elaborate ceremony took place in Bwari on Saturday, October 1, 2022 bringing together personalities across all walks of life.
According to the President of the College, Bishop (Professor) Nicholas Ivato, the revered traditional title holder was conferred with the award for his achievements towards the development of humanity.
He said when the name of High Chief Fada came up for the award, there was no challenge because of what he has been doing to uplift the well-being of the people.
“The honour is to spur for more to be done. His time has come to be appreciated for the good things he has been doing,” Bishop (Professor) Ivato explained.
He also pointed out that Doctor of Divinity is a life-time achievement not only for Christians but for anybody who deserves it.
In his acceptance speech, High Chief (Dr.) Fada promised to help in the development of the permanent site of the College.
Highlights of the ceremony was the decoration of the awardee with the academic gown and mortar board as well as the presentation of the Honourary doctorate certificate.
