Saturday polls: Yobe IPAC endorses Governor Buni for second term

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State
Political parties under the aegis of Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Yobe State chapter, have unanimously endorsed the second term ambition of Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni.
Speaking at a Press Conference held at Art and Culture, Damaturu, Yobe state on Wednesday, State Publicity Secretary of the IPAC Hon Kachalla Kirki Goniri Kachallah Kirki Goniri, said that, We have observed all the processes. The state has enjoyed the co-existence among all the political parties. We are here to appreciate you for a job well done, “he stated.
Goniri described that, the governor, being a disciplined and focused man, has, through his words and actions, brought peace and development to the state.
According to him, “We have come here today Wednesday to declared out total support to governor Mai Mala Buni for his exemplary leadership and, most especially, for the peaceful conduct of the presidential and National Assembly elections.
“The presidential and National Assembly elections in Yobe were free and fair and acceptable to all of us. We, the registered political parties, are in support of the governor Buni for second team come on 18, March Saturday Elections.
He added that, ” We are happy as a body to come and assure you that your second term is inevitable. We shall support you in the gubernatorial election by God willing and casting our voters for you insha Allah” he emphasized
Hon kachalla said APC political tolerance by lowering the political temperature and focusing on issues-based campaigns as he believed that people are free to join any party of their choice.
“Let me use this media to inform you that, we have no need to stop people from joining any political party of their choice and marketing their parties for votes. But, we believed and have a confidence on Buni for winning the governorship elections”said
“I want to appreciate you for testifying that the elections were peaceful. APC senators and members of the House of Reps, as well as presidential candidate won.
