Taraba SDP governorship candidate, Hon. Baido

The Taraba State governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Hon. Danladi Baido has condemned the killing of family members of the District Head of Mutum Biyu, Sani Muhammed in the state.
Security and other sources said over the weekend that suspected kidnappers killed wives and five children of the district head. However, one of them happen to escape from their captivity.
Hon. Baido said such incident would have been prevented if the security architecture in the state is proactive.
In a statement by Anthony Maliki, Special Assistant on Media to the SDP candidate on Monday, Hon. Baido urged security operatives in the state to ensure that perpetrators of the dastardly are immediately arrested and brought to face the law.
According to him, insecurity in the state has been a cause for concern and urgent steps must be taken to nib-in-bud the deteriorating situation.
Hon. Baido expressed dismay that Taraba, a state known for peace, has plunged into where people live in perpetual fear and uncertainty.
He urged the people across the state to live in harmony and report any suspected persons or movements to ensure the lives and property of all are protected.
The SDP candidate also said check-mating insecurity would be one of his cardinal agenda as Governor of the state when elected.
Hon. Baido condole the District Head on the loss of his loved ones and prayed the deceased Aljanah Firdaus.
