SDP governorship candidate, Hon. Baido expresses concern over religious politics in Taraba

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) gubernatorial candidate in Taraba State, Hon. Danladi Baido has expressed concern over religious dimension in the political process in the state.
He made the remarks when a delegation from Gassol Local Government Area paid him a solidarity visit on Wednesday.
According to him, endorsements by Christian Association of Nigeria and a Muslim organization of some governorship candidates portends danger in the state.
Hon. Baido noted that if any of those allegedly endorsed by these religious bodies is elected, the state would be thrown in crisis and should be rejected.

He also pointed out that the candidates of other parties are using money to woo electorate during their campaigns. A money they borrowed which would be removed from government coffers.
Hon. Baido said he is best suited to be governor of the state and would never borrow money for campaigns.

Also, the candidate received the “Young Shall Grow” Organization, where he told them to ensure their votes count.
He said they must shun money politics to ensure good leaders are elected.
