Gombe state SSG, Prof Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi

The Secretary to Gombe State Government (SSG), Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has cautioned Dadiya Community in Balanga Local Government against fraternizing with political jobbers who he said are out to confuse electorates as the nation enters electioneering period.
Professor Ibrahim Njodi who gave the advise on the backdrop of some politicians said to be engaged in construction of road in Dadiya Chiefdom describing the development as deceitful and callous .
The SSG spoke when he played host to the Dadiya Community under the auspices of Dadiya Community Development Association (DACODA) on a solidary visit to the Government House on Wednesday.
They were to support Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s administration and appreciate it for projects and programmes cited in the community assured the 11-100 kilometer road projects initiated by his administration will reach every community.
While appreciating them for their patience, support and unwavering commitment to the State Government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya, Professor Njodi said that political appointments will be considered for people of Dadiya so as to give them effective representation in Government.
The National Chairman of Dadiya Community Development Association, Mr. Bage Fotos who led the delegation of eminent sons and daughters of the Association to a courtesy visit on the Secretary to the Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi had in his remarks commended the inclusive leadership qualities of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
Mr. Fotos explained that they were at the government House to extend their appreciation to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for his human face in leadership especially as it affects the people of Dadiya chiefdom.
He said the Governor has in his usual compassionate leadership style constructed a befitting skills aquisition centre in Bambam and a hospital in yelwa to ease the suffering of the people.
He however appeal to the Gombe State Government to look into the possibility of constructing the Dogon dutse,Lofiyo, Bagunji road, upgrade the vocational centre Bambam to a technical College and the establishment of boarding school in Dadiya chiefdom.
On political appointments with the APC government in the state, the Chairman also appeal to the administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to consider the appointment of persons from Dadiya chiefdom as no son or daughter from Dadiya is within the circle of political office holders.
The representative of Elders forum, women and youth leaders of Dadiya Community Development Association equally spoke at the visit where they eulogies the inclusive leadership qualities of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
They also promised to deliver the votes of Dadiya to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to help actualize his second term bid.
To this end the SSG said the state Government will within available resources construct the Dogon dutse Lofiyo to Bangunji road and the possibility of upgrading the vocational skills acquisition centre into a technical College.
