The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Internal Security, Hon. Danji Usman Shiddi said those advocating for the proscription of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) are envious of the performances of the organisation.
Shiddi, representing Wukari/Ibi Federal Constituency disclosed this in a telephone interview with Apex News Exclusive.
He said that any meaningful Nigeria will not ascribe for the proscription of NSCDC wondering what are the reason or sins, if any, that is worthy for proscription.
He said if anybody feels they have genuine reasons or grievances against the agency should table them but noted they have performed above what Nigerian expected from them.
The legislator noted that NSCDC is fighting crime to its standstill as they have not left any stone unturned in fighting crime in various ways in the country.
