Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State Simon Bako Lalong has praised President/CEO of the Digital Bridge Institute Abuja Mr. David Daser for his contributions to the successes recorded by his administration in the area of Information and Communication Technology which drove many reforms that he initiated.
Lalong who was special guest at a Special Thanksgiving Service by David Daser held at the Baptist Church, Kagu, Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State said Daser has contributed enormously to the development of Plateau State and Nigeria using his skills and passion in the field of ICT.
He recalled how David Daser upon appointment as pioneer DG of Plateau Information Technology Development Agency (PICTDA), brought up a lot of innovations and drove the Agency to national and international recognition.
Lalong said Daser is a committed, innovative and dedicated person who was instrumental to a lot of government reforms that required the utilisation of science and technology especially revenue generation, blocking of leakages, transparency and efficiency.
He said the appointment of Daser as President/CEO of the Digital Bridge Institute by President Bola Tinubu was therefore not surprising because he had made a name for himself and established competence in the ICT industry.
Senator Lalong therefore admonished Plateau to always recognise and utilise its best brains rather than ignoring them because of political considerations.
In his sermon, guest speaker Rev. Dr. Japhlet Kyenlong advised Nigerians to serve humanity and their nation recognising that their service is unto God who gave them the opportunity to serve.
He described David Daser as a diligent young man who has touched many lives and submitted himself to training and mentoring other younger persons.
While thanking God for his life, the celebrant David Daser said he came back to his roots to show appreciation to God for raising him and offering him privilege to be useful in society and also contributing to the development of society.
He thanked God for allowing his path to cross with great men and women like Senator Simon Lalong who provided him the platform to showcase his gifts and talents.
