Senator Lalong celebrates for women affairs minister, Dame Pauline Tallen at 66

Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State Simon Bako Lalong has felicitated with former Minister of Women Affairs Dame Pauline Tallen on her 66th birthday.

Lalong in a message described the former Minister as a consumate politician, strong advocate for women and human rights as well as a mother who has passion for the children of Nigeria.

Senator Lalong recalls the invauable contributions of Dame Tallen to the socio-politcal development of Plateau State and Nigeria having occupied various public offices in service to the people.

He said her passion for ensuring that the Nigerian woman and the girl-child is equipped with sound education, morals and ample opportunity to manifest her God-given talents and gifts in public and private life is a testament to her resilience.

Senator Lalong said she continues to be a role model and mentor to younger politicians particularly women that are encouraged to participate and remove any form of marginalisation and obstacles that stand in their way to attaining their goals in life.

He also commended her passion for serving God which is manifest in her contributions to the Catholic Church as a Knight.

While wishing her more years of joy, peace and God’s blessings, Lalong urged Dame Pauline Tallen to sustain her love for God and passion for the growth of the Church.
