Senator Lalong presents a condolence letter to Dame Pauline Tallen

Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Bako Lalong has visited the former Minister of Women Affairs Dame Pauline Tallen at her Abuja residence to condole her over the demise of her son, Richard Adamu Tallen.

Lalong who was accompanied by the member Representing Bokkos, Mangu Federal Constituency Hon. Ishaya Lalu, APC National Deputy Secretary Hon. Festus Fuanter and former Plateau State Liaison Officer, Abuja Mr. Pius Yenshi described the death of late Adamu as a big loss to the family, Plateau State and Nigeria at large.

He extended the condolences of his family and the people of Plateau South Senatorial Zone to the Tallen family, assuring them that his heart is with them at this difficult period.

He said though the death of Adamu is very painful, there is nothing that the family can do to question God or reverse what he has permitted.

The Senator asked the family to continue to pray for the repose of his soul and uphold his legacies and achievements.

While responding, Dame Pauline Tallen expressed appreciation for the visit and words of encouragement, saying the family though devastated, has submitted to God’s will.

She said burial arrangements have been concluded for the funeral rites which will begin in Abuja and continue in Jos and Shendam where he will be finally laid to rest.
