Senator Lalong describes the re-election of Rev. Dr. Mohzo as a clear endorsement of his visionary, compassionate and exemplary leadership which has continued to strengthen the spiritual growth, administrative consolidation, and missionary expansion of the Church both within and outside Nigeria.
He notes that under Rev. Mohzo’s stewardship, COCIN has remained a beacon of hope, peacebuilding, and a strong moral voice on issues of national concern, particularly at a time when unity and reconciliation are greatly needed.
The Senator commends the COCIN General Church Council for demonstrating maturity, prayerfulness, and unity throughout the electoral process, stressing that such harmony is a reflection of the Church’s deep-rooted values and commitment to the work of God.
According to Senator Lalong, Dr. Mohzo is a humble, God-fearing, and dedicated servant of Christ whose leadership continues to inspire not only members of the COCIN family but the entire Christian community in Nigeria.
He prays that God will grant the COCIN President renewed strength, wisdom, and divine grace to lead the Church to greater heights in evangelism, peace advocacy, humanitarian outreach, and nation-building.
Senator Lalong assures Rev. Mohzo of his continuous support and collaboration in advancing peace, unity, and development within Plateau State and beyond.
