Senator Lalong congratulates former Plateau Governor Chief Dariye at 68

Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Lalong has sent warm felicitations to former Governor of Plateau State Chief Joshua Chibi Dariye as he marks his 68th birthday.
Lalong rejoices with the former Governor of Plateau State whom he describes as a mentor and leader who has devoted his life to service of the people as well as raising many youngster ones that have continued to impact society positively.
This was contained in a statement by Dr. Makut Simon Macham, Special Adviser Media to Senator Lalong.
According to Senator Lalong, Chief Joshua Dariye, the Kawung Mushere has demonstrated enormous commitment to the progress, peace and development of Plateau State and Nigeria through his political life having served from as Governor between 1999-2007 where remained resolute in the face of challenges.
He acknowledged other contributions of Chief Dariye to the unity of Plateau State and the emancipation of various groups within the State’s multi-ethnic composition which strengthened cohesion and deepened sense of belonging.
Senator Lalong recalls the collaboration and synergy that prevailed during the administration of Chief Dariye when he served as Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, describing the experience as rewarding.
Lalong while wishing him many more years of good health, God’s blessings and divine protection, urges him to continue to deploy his vast experience, knowledge and contacts to work for the prosperity of the people through his philanthropic causes as well as mentoring.
