Senator Lalong congratulates former Plateau SSG, Prof. Atu on 66th birthday

Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong has extended warm felicitations to the immediate past Secretary to the Government of Plateau State, Prof. Danladi Abok Atu, on the occasion of his 66th birthday.
Senator Lalong described Prof. Atu as an accomplished academic, politician and administrator whose commitment to excellence and service has contributed immensely to the development of his community, Plateau State, and Nigeria at large.
He noted that Prof. Atu has continued to deploy his vast experience in advancing good governance and nation-building, while also nurturing and mentoring many young people through his teaching, research, and public service.
The Senator fondly recalled Prof. Atu’s outstanding contributions to the success of the Rescue Administration during his tenure as Secretary to the Government of Plateau State, where his diligence, loyalty, and administrative competence were evident in the coordination of government policies and programmes.
Lalong appreciates the mentoring and grooming initiatives of Prof. Atu who has continued to teach and research widely particularly under his leadership of the APUDI Institute for Peace Studies and Social Rehabilitation (APIS).
Lalong further commended Prof. Atu’s unwavering contributions to political development, his passion for community service, and his deep commitment to the Church, where he serves faithfully as a Knight of Saint Gregory the Great.
While wishing him a joyous birthday celebration, Senator Lalong prayed that God would continue to bless Prof. Atu with good health, divine protection, and enduring happiness as he continues to serve humanity.
