Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, has congratulated Nde Ezekiel Gomos on his appointment as Director General of the Northern Governors Forum.
Senator Lalong, who is the immediate past Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum, described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that Nde Gomos brings decades of experience, integrity, and competence to the role.
He recalled his long-standing working relationship with Gomos, who served in various capacities at both public and private sectors among them, Secretary to the Plateau State Government during Lalong’s tenure as Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, and later as Chairman of the Economic Team when he was Governor of Plateau State.
Lalong said these roles showcased Gomos’ exceptional administrative capacity, strategic thinking, and passion for regional development.
The Senator expressed confidence that Nde Gomos will deploy his wealth of experience including his current work in leadership development and enterprise growth at the Jos Business School to further strengthen the Secretariat of the Northern Governors Forum and support its mission of fostering security, unity, and economic advancement across the region.
Senator Lalong wished him success in his new assignment and prayed for God’s guidance as he undertakes this important responsibility.
