Sheikh Ghazali Adam

Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Lalong has congratulated the new Chief Imam of the Jos Central Mosque Sheikh Ghazali Isma’ila Adam.
Lalong in a message describes the appointment of Sheikh Ghazali as well deserved because of his many years of serving the Muslim Ummah in various capacities including being Deputy Chief Imam.
This was contained in a statement by Dr. Makut Simon Macham, Special Adviser on Media to Senator Lalong.
He said Sheikh Ghazali is a man of honesty and deep spiritual knowledge who has exhibited high level of interest in ensuring that Plateau experiences unity among people of various backgrounds and faiths.
The Senator also recalled the role that Sheikh Ghazali played in changing the narrative of ethno-religious crises in Plateau to one of peace and stability during his tenure as Governor.
He admonishes the new Chief Imam to continue to work closely with the Muslim Ummah by providing leadership that is based on the dictates of Islam as well as sustaining his passion for unity in diversity.
Lalong wishes him well and prays that God will give him good health, divine protection and strength to carry out this onerous task with humility and honesty.
