Senator Lalong congratulates new Gamai Youths Movement national executives, urges them to serve as vanguard for progress

Senator Simon Lalong
Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Lalong has congratulated the new National Executive Council of the Gamai Youth Movement (GYM) over their recent election and inauguration into office.
Lalong who is a former National President of the body said the peaceful election and free atmosphere of choice, brotherhood and cooperation displayed is a clear message that the GYM is on a course for progress.
This was contained in a statement by Dr. Makut Simon Macham, Special Adviser on Media to Senator Lalong.
He therefore felicitated with the new Executives under the leadership of Dominic Saje Gani, urging them to focus on galvanising the youths across Gamailand for socio-economic and political development of the area.
While assuring the new leadership of his support and collaboration, Senator Lalong charged them to identify current development challenges that are impeding youth development and partner with revelant stakeholders towards ensuring that they are addressed.
The Senator said he will do his best to continue to attract projects and programmes to Gamailand and the entire Senatorial District just like he did while he was Governor of Plateau State and Minister of Labour and Employment.
Lalong further assured the Gamai Youth Movement that he will use every opportunity available to him at the Senate to seek opportunities for empowering youths from the zone towards ensuring that they are educationally and economically empowered to contribute to the prosperity of Gamailand, Plateau State and Nigeria at large.
He also wants them to work assiduously in sustaining peace and security in Gamailand which is very important for any development.
