The Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong has extended warm felicitations to the Senator representing Plateau Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Diket Satso Plang, on the occasion of his birthday.
Senator Lalong described Senator Plang, Chairman Senate Committee on Labour and Employment as a dependable friend, colleague, and patriotic leader who has consistently demonstrated humility, diligence, and commitment to the service of the people of Plateau State and Nigeria.
He recalled their long-standing relationship dating back many decades where their paths crossed in the service of Plateau and Nigeria particularly being former members of the State House of Assembly at various times where they both served with distinction.
He also noted Senator Plang’s valuable contributions as Special Adviser and Member of the Governing Council of Plateau State University (PLASU) during his Rescue Administration as Governor, describing him as a dedicated team player and bridge builder.
Senator Lalong praised Senator Plang’s continued passion for good governance, community development, and youth empowerment, saying his efforts in the National Assembly reflect his deep-rooted desire to uplift the lives of his constituents.
While wishing him good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in the years ahead, Senator Lalong prayed that God will continue to strengthen him to serve with renewed zeal and divine guidance.
