Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State SimonLalong has congratulated his Royal Highness the Long Gamai of Gamailand, Miskoom Martin Shaldas III on his birthday.
Senator Lalong described the Royal Father as a man of peace and integrity who has continued to demonstrate leadership that seeks to emancipate his people.
This was contained in a statement by Dr. Makut Simon Macham, Special Adviser on Media to Senator Lalong.
He said as a first class traditional ruler and Vice Chairman of the Plateau State Council of Traditional Rulers and Emirs, Miskoom Shaldas III has conducted himself with decorum, wisdom and capacity towards promoting unity among people of his domain as well as others parts of the State.
Lalong said over the years, he has worked closely with the Royal Father to ensure that development issues regarding the people of Gamailand are pursued and implemented.
He cited the recent launch of the Gamai Bible and the consistent hosting of the Bit Gamai Cultural festival among others as some legacies that the Royal Father has encouraged in the sustenance and promotion of the rich culture and tradition of the Gamai people.
While wishing him many more years of God’s blessings, good health and divine protection, Senator Lalong urged the Long Gamai to continue to offer his wealth of wisdom and knowledge towards uplifting the people.
