The Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, has congratulated Engr. David Jaafaru Wuyep on the occasion of his birthday.
Senator Lalong describes Engr. Wuyep as a seasoned technocrat and committed public servant who made invaluable contributions to the success of the Rescue Administration while serving as Commissioner for Water Resources and Energy.
He recalls that Engr. Wuyep also distinguished himself as the pioneer head of the Project Monitoring and Result Delivery Office (PMRDO), where he played a critical role in strengthening transparency, project monitoring, and effective service delivery.
Senator Lalong notes that the impactful work of the PMRDO significantly improved accountability in governance, earning Plateau State an international recognition and award from the Open Government Partnership (OGP) in South Korea.
According to the Senator, Engr. Wuyep’s professionalism, integrity, and dedication to duty were instrumental in advancing the administration’s development agenda and promoting project implementation, transparency and good governance in Plateau State.
The Senator wishes Engr. David Jaafaru Wuyep good health, renewed strength, and many more years of impactful service to Plateau State and the nation at large.
