Senator Lalong inspects NBA Jos Branch permanent office, promises support

Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Bako Lalong has visited the NBA Jos Branch permanent office to assess the office which he facilitated its acquisition during his term as Governor.
Lalong was received by the NBA Jos Branch Chairman Barrister Leah Hassan Dagung, officials and some members of association.
This was contained in a statement by Dr. Makut Simon Macham, Special Adviser on Media to Senator Lalong.
They again expressed profound gratitude to the Senator whom they described as a valuable and generous member that has supported the association in many ways, past and present.
The Chairman took the Senator round the facility and showed him the level of renovation that has been done. She said the association is continuing with the work but has been constrained by finances. She therefore appealed to the Senator to assist.
Also speaking, a former Chairman of the Association, Barrister Tob Kekemeke, SAN said the branch is not only indebted to Senator Lalong but also proud of his achievements and contributions to the successes of lawyers in the State and nation at large.
Senator Lalong said he was at the NBA office in fulfillment of his promise to personality visit and inspect the facility for possible intervention.
He expressed commitment to support the branch in renovating the office as well as carrying out other initiatives that will move the branch higher.
The Senator said as the Deputy Chairman Senate Committee Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, he will do his best to strengthen the bar and bench as well as the NBA.
Senator Lalong thereafter visited elderstatesman Ambassador Yahaya Kwande to commiserate with him over a fire incident that affected a part of his residence.
He also visited wife of Nigeria’s second indigenous Chief of the Air Staff Mrs Paullene Alao.
