Senator Lalong mourns tragic death of miners in Plateau

The Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District, Simon Lalong, has expressed deep sorrow and devastation over the tragic death of miners in Zurak community of Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The unfortunate incident, which claimed the lives of hardworking young men in the course of their legitimate means of livelihood, has left the entire Plateau South Senatorial District in mourning.
Senator Lalong describes the tragedy as heartbreaking and a painful loss not only to the immediate families of the victims but also to the people of Wase and Plateau State at large.
He extends his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, the people of Zurak, and the entire Wase Local Government Area over this irreparable loss. The Senator notes that the miners were contributors to the local economy and breadwinners whose untimely deaths have created a vacuum that will be difficult to fill.
Lalong also prayed for the survivors who are receiving treatment in the hospital and wished them a quick recovery.
