Senator Tutare facilities training of 537 women, youths on soap production in Taraba

A two-day training program aimed at
empowering 537 women and youth from
Shira, Yerima, and Sendirde wards in Gassol Local Government Area of Taraba
State has opened in Mutum Biyu, headquarters of Gassol Local Government Area.
The program, implemented by Ladun
Global Concept Limited and facilitated by former lawmaker Senator Abubakar
Tutare and the Border Communities Development Agency, focuses on equipping participants with practical
skills in bar and liquid soap production to enhance selfreliance and community
development.
During the opening remarks, Alhaji Isa
Gunduma, the chairman of the occasion, urged participants to maximize the opportunity by learning and practicing the skills taught during the training.
He encouraged them to apply the knowledge for personal and commercial
benefits, emphasizing the transformative potential of the initiative.
Gunduma expressed gratitude to the
participants for their active attention and wish them a productive and successful
training session.
Mallum Abuga, the Chief Executive Officer of Ladun Global Concept Limited, assured participants of the far-reaching benefits of the program.
“The knowledge and skills you gain from this training will not only benefit you personally but will also contribute to the overall growth and development of
your community,” he stated.
Also a Director in the Agency, Mr. Nesting Ovie said the training programme was to impact skills to the participants on how to make Bar and liquid soap, including other house hold items.
He said the participants when fully equipped with required skills, would be self reliance and also teach others.
In her address, Mrs. Hauwa Pogumai, a program facilitator, highlighted the
importance of applying the acquired skills to make a positive impact.
She applauded the organizers for their dedication and the participants for their commitment to excellence.
Mrs. Pogumai further encouraged the trainees to collaborate and work towards building a better future for themselves and their communities
The training which is expected to last for two days underscores the commitment of Senator Abubakar Tutare, Border Communities Development Agency and Ladun Global Concept Limited to skill acquisition and economic empowerment in rural communities.
