Senatorial aspirant prays for success of Gongola Peoples Forum

A former Senatorial aspirant in Adamawa State, Anthony Tough Yongo is praying for the unity and success of the Gongola Peoples Forum, (GPF).
He said people that makes up the Forum should be genuinely united to achieve their common purpose and aspirations.
Mr. Yongo made the remarks in an interview with Apex News Exclusive in Jerusalem, Israel while on pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
The GPF aims to rekindle the various bonds among the people of the former Gongola State, now Adamawa and Taraba states. It also includes people of shared history and culture in Gombe, Bauchi and parts of Benue states.
According to Yongo, the people of this area should come together for a purposeful direction to achieve more represention at national level and attract development to the area.
He pointed out that one of his prayer points to the Holy Land is to fervently pray for the success of the Gongola Peoples Forum and its leader in achieve its purpose.
Mr. Yongo stressed that the Forum seeks to promote unity, self-determination, and socio-economic development among the various ethnic nationalities of the area.
He noted that the people of the area have common identity and the Forum provides a platform with the aim of addressing them.
