CSP Haruna Abdulmalik

The Divisional Police Officer, (DPO) of Nasarawa Eggon in Nasarawa State, CSP Haruna Abdulmalik has been kidnapped.
Chairman of the Local government Alhaji Danladi Idris Odasko confirmed the kidnap.
He said, ” The police officer was kidnapped at about 9pm Wednesday night in Bakono road. Since the incident, his GSM handsets have been switched-off.
” Witnesses said he was abducted at gun point and whisked to unknown destination”. Said Danladi Idris Odasko.
it was gathered that the DPO was abducted when he went on patrol on the Nasarawa Eggon – Akwanga Road on the fateful night when he fell to the hands of the armed kidnappers.
As of the time of filing in this report, the kidnappers have contacted his family, demanding for N5m ransom.
The chairman, Danladi Idris Odasko said they are making efforts to free the DPO from the armed kidnappers.
The police command in the state didn’t respond to the incident.
