The management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH), Bauchi, has presented letters of commendation to seven nurses of the Male Surgical Ward in recognition of their dedication, resilience, and professionalism in patient care.
The recognition followed a letter of appreciation from the family of the late Alhaji Isa Sulaiman, who praised the management and staff of the ward for their outstanding commitment while attending to their late father.
Presenting the commendation on behalf of the management, the Chief Medical Director of ATBUTH, Professor Yusuf Jibrin Bara, said the gesture was meant to encourage the staff and acknowledge their contribution to quality healthcare delivery.
He reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to providing qualitative healthcare services to citizens and urged other staff to emulate the dedication of their colleagues.
According to him, such recognition would serve as motivation and further showcase the good work being carried out at the hospital.
Speaking earlier, Ludfiyya Isa Sulaiman, the second daughter of the late Alhaji Isa Sulaiman, said the family felt it necessary to formally commend the ward for the compassion and professionalism demonstrated.
She noted that the staff worked with passion and humanity rather than financial motives.
