SGF Akume describes President Tinubu as detribalized leader with great vision
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his 73rd birthday anniversary, describing him as a detribalized leader with great vision.
Speaking at the President’s 73rd birthday thanksgiving anniversary held at the Methodist Church Cathedral of Unity in Abuja on March 29, 2025, Sen. Akume praised President Tinubu’s leadership, saying that within a short period, he has implemented policies that have positively impacted the lives of Nigerians through his Renewed Hope agenda.
The President has demonstrated exceptional leadership by establishing specialized universities, a student loan agency, and driving massive infrastructural development in road construction across the country,” Sen. Akume said.
He further commended President Tinubu’s commitment to the rule of law and constitutionalism, describing him as a tested and proven leader who performed excellently as Governor of Lagos State.
Earlier in his exhortation, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, described President Tinubu as an indomitable and enigmatic leader with a divine mandate to deliver Nigeria.
Bishop Adegbite expressed optimism about Nigeria’s total restoration and urged Nigerians to continue praying for the President’s longevity and good health.
The thanksgiving service was attended by dignitaries, including Senator Simon Lalong, Senator Rev. Amos Yohanna, Archbishop John Praise, and other top government officials.
