SGF Akume, Senator Lalong at thanksgiving for President Tinubu at 73

A Church Thanksgiving Service has been held at the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Wuse, Zone 3, Abuja to commemorate the 73rd birthday of President Bola Tinubu.
Speaking at the event, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume said the birthday calls for Thanksgiving to God for sparing the life of the President and giving him an opportunity to serve the people.
This was contained in a statement by Dr. Makut Simon Macham, Special Adviser Media to Senator Lalong.
Akume said the President has shown commitment to ensuring that Nigeria is restored to the path of progress, prosperity and development, hence the resolve to take hard decisions which come with some pains.
He, however, thanked Nigerians for their support, prayers and understanding so far, assuring that very soon, they will benefit from the outcome of the reforms.
In his remarks, Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and Director General of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council Simon Bako Lalong, said the birthday of the President is another opportunity to reflect on God’s faithfulness upon him over the years.
Lalong said the President has dedicated this life to service and has continued to demonstrate leadership in the implementation of of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Executive Secretary of the NCPC, Bishop Stephen Adegbite also appreciated Nigerians for praying for the President and the nation, urging them to sustain their prayers for future of the nation.
A birthday cake was cut to mark the occasion.
