Labour Party Senatorial candidate in Kaduna South Senatorial Zone, Michael Ayuba Auta has appealed to the Federal and Kaduna State Governments to ensure more security personnel are deployed to areas facing security challenges so they can go about their legitimate activities.

Auta said in a press conference in Kafanchan that the series of attacks in southern Kaduna is an attempt to disenfranchised the people so as to reduce the voters from the zone.

He therefore appeal to INEC to ensure every nook and cranny in southern Kaduna exercise its constitutional right of going to poll to cast their votes to the candidates of their choice.

“The better we understand the plan to deny us cast our votes, the better for us to know what we need to do as a people in order to perform our constitutional responsibilities as citizens of the country,” he said

He then call on the people to come out enmass and votes the candidates of their choice and also hold elected candidates responsible by ensuring they perform responsibilities of bringing the dividends of democracy to the people.

The candidate said among the motives of the attackers is to drive away investors and destroyed the economic potentials of the area.
