Speakers Chairman, Abubakar Y. Suleiman sympathizing with Speaker of Katsina State House of Assembly

Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria and Speaker of Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abubakar Y.Suleiman has expressed deep sympathy to the Katsina State House of Assembly over the fire outbreak that burnt the Assembly’s hallow Chamber.
The Chairman said that the Bauchi State House of Assembly and the Conference of Speakers are deeply touched by the unfortunate incident which damaged some parts of the legislative arm.
Abubakar Suleiman also said that, “We commiserate with our brother and colleague, Rt. Hon. Tasiu Musa Maigari, his Honourable Colleagues and all people of Katsina State over the fire incident which come at a time when efforts are being made to provide more conducive atmosphere for effective legislations across the Country. Our hearts and prayers are with you at this trying period”.
The Speaker added that, “As people who believe in Almighty God, we should submit everything to Almighty Allah and take solace in the fact that this is destined by Him.”
The Chairman also emphasized the need for holistic measure to curb frequent fire outbreaks in the Country which affect the economy and service delivery as contained in a statement by Abdul Ahmad Burra, Spokesperson to the Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly.
