North-East Zonal Vice President of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has congratulated Gombe United FC for gaining promotion back to the elite division of the Nigeria FootbalI,the NPFL after a wonderful Performance at the just concluded NNL super 8 play off in Enugu.
According to the Zonal Vice President “Your determination, Commitment, hardwork and prayers has been rewarded with the much needed Victory”.
The VIce President further stated that, “As we welcome you back to NPFL, it is our prayers that you will continue to exhibit that zeal in the years ahead.
“We also Commend Gombe State Government for its support to the team which gave them the encouragement and boosted their morale to perform creditably well as contained in a statement by Nasiru A Kobi, SWAN Zonal Secretary.
