Sudan collaborates with Nigerian spiritual organization to promote peace, unity

The government of the Republic of Sudan is collaborating with Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to promote peace and unity amongst peoples of Nigeria and Sudan as well as Africa as a whole.

The ambassador of the state of Sudan in Nigeria, His Excellency, Omer – el –  farong spoke on behalf of the President of the Transitional Sovereign Council of Sudan when he received the delegation sent by the spiritual leader of the spiritual Organization, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu.

The 8-man delegation was led by a lawyer and diplomat, Justice Osai Ahiakwo who delivered a special message from the spiritual leader.

The visit held on Thursday at the Sudanese embassy in Abuja.

The ambassador expressed happiness for the relationship with the organization and for the visit,  noting that every religion and nation craves for peace in brotherhood as elucidated by the peace emissaries.

“The essence of living together in peace is to achieve the concept of Brotherhood”, the ambassador said.

“My country has a historic pact of building peaceful co-existence, which is traceable to the Old Testament of the Holy Bible. No matter what religion one professes the only common goal is to live in peace with one another.”

He promised to keep the relationship with BCS healthy.

He disclosed that a complimentary effort will be made to see to the registration and its establishment in his country.

The ambassador said he will pay a visit  to the international headquarters of the organisation in Calabar in November as part of consolidating on the relationship.

Speaking earlier, the representative of His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, Justice Ahiakwo commended Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan Abdelrahman, President of the Transitional Sovereign Council of the State of Sudan for striving to hold the country together and wished him successful tenure in office

Ahiakwo asserted that BCS  is the long foretold eternal Kingdom of God where righteousness, love, peace, oneness and divine ideals are taught and practised.

“BCS has come to transform man from his imperfection to perfection through the teachings and practicing of the word of God; taking man to the realization of the unadulterated wisdom and understanding.”

He called for cooperation and support of the government and people of Sudan to enhance the humanitarian services rendered by BCS in the State of Sudan.

He said the visit will afford a cordial relationship between BCS and the Sudanese Government and assured the country of peace, prosperity and stability.
