Sarah Moses, mother of Super Eagles vice-captain, Ahmed Musa, has died Thursday at an Abuja private hospital.
In a tweet, the winger said it was a sad day. “What a sad day of my life, just lose my mum,” he said.
Musa had written on his Instagram few days earlier that his mum should get out of bed.
He said: “I am sure being tucked in bed is not the best thing you know to do.
“All your children are waiting for you to get out of bed and say ‘I am back in action’. Get well soon Sweet Mum,” the Edo-born winger noted.
