Suspected gunmen set Reps Member house ablaze

Some persons suspected to be gunmen operating in the South East region of Nigeria, have burnt down the country home of Rt. Hon. Pascal Agbordike, member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency of Anambra State at the House of Representatives in Abuja.
The former Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly hinted our correspondent of the tragedy, in a telephone conversation, but stated that no life was lost.
The house consisting of a fully furnished duplex, with a bungalow in the same compound was completely razed down, while properties in the houses were not also spared.
The Lawmaker said the incident happened at about 1am on Tuesday in Mbosi, his home town.
Rt. Hon. Agbordike stated that no life was lost in the attack and also did not state if he suspected anyone, or whether it was politically motivated.
He was in Abuja carrying out his legislative function when the attack happened.
As at the time of filling this story, the State Police Command was yet to confirm the incident.
