SYSTEMSPEC remita manager donates N6.5m to Adamawa COVID-19 relief fund

The SYSTEMSPEC who manages the remita platform which provides support payroll and payment management, as well as the efficient operation of the treasury single account (TSA) scheme in Adamawa state has made donations to the state Government aimed at assisting the state in the fight against the coronavirus.

In a letter signed by the Managing Director John Tani Obaro, the SYSTEMSPEC commended the effort of Adamawa state government towards combating the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in Adamawa.

SYSTEMSPEC says as part of its cooperate social responsibility (CSR), they are contributing the sum of N6.5million to Adamawa state government relief and intervention effort.

The donation which is segmented into two has a cash donation of N5million and the provision of technology support (computer and internet subscription) worth N1.5million to support remote working by state government officials responsible for critical operation, such as the running of the government payroll and TSA operations during the lockdown.

In addition, system specs  says it has provided a link in the state remita TSA platform for individuals and cooperate in entities in Nigeria and Diaspora, to donates towards Adamawa state government fight against COVID-19 through several channel’s including local and international cards, internet banking, USSD, wallet and bank branches.

While commending Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, the SYSTEM SPEC emphasized that they have worked with the secretary to the state government (SSG) to set up the states COVID-19 donation collection on remita . The company pledged to work further with the team to ensure the donation payment link is clearly displayed on Adamawa state website and social media platforms. Systemspecs says it shall also amplify this on social media on behalf of the state.

SYSTEMSPEC in its statement sincerely appreciated the opportunity given to it to  serve Adamawa state government and further affirmed  their unwavering support to the state  during these challenging times and in the years to come.
