The just concluded ward congresses of All Progressives Congress (APC), in Taraba State has been adjudged as most successful, peaceful and orderly conducted in recent times.
The State Chairman of the party, Barrister Ibrahim El-sudi disclosed this while speaking with newsmen shortly after the exercise at the party secretariat in Jalingo.
According to him, the conduct of delegates before, during and after the entire process shows great maturity, and attributed it to general acceptance of the party in the state.
He further stated that the visit of the National delegate to witness the Congress was inline with party’s due process.
Barrister El-sudi further said to avoid rancor in the party, APC had adopted direct primaries or consensus and enjoined party faithful who are yet to obtain their e-registration membership to do so immediately.
He applauded Governor Agbu Kefas, party members, council chairmen, state and national delegates as well security agents and media for cooperation and support.
Also speaking on the conduct exercise, Chairman of the Jalingo Local Government Area, Hon. Nura Dantsoho expressed profound gratitude for the peaceful conduct of the ward congress.
He thanked the state party chairman, stakeholders and members of the party in the area for support in that direction.
Dantsoho assured that the Jalingo Local Government Area will deliver 100% votes to Governor Agbu Kefas, President Bola Tinubu and others in the 2027 general elections.
