The Speaker, Taraba State House of Assembly, Professor Joseph Albasu Kunini has appreciated the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps for their doggedness in combating criminality in the state.
He stated this when the newly posted commandant of Corps paid him a courtesy visit.
He said there’s always a synergy between the state government and the Corp praying that it will be sustained.
The speaker said the newly posted commandant has wealth of experiences in combating crime in the country praying that it will be put to use.
On his part the state commandant, Edwin Ugwuja thanked the speaker for the audience saying he will use his wealth of experiences to bring kidnapping to a stand still.
He said he’s here on familiarization visit so as to acquaint himself of the happenings in the state.
The Speaker, Professor Kunini also thanked the media for cordial relationship in the dissemination of information.
He said the media has given the state house of Assembly a balanced reportage urging them to keep it up.
The speaker also applauded the clerk and his team for keeping the house abreast and accurate at all times urging them to keep the flag flying.
